We design, build and maintain gardens anywhere in Auckland.

Our Services

We design and build new gardens anywhere in Auckland. We also love giving tired or overgrown gardens a makeover, whether a major overhaul or minor refresh. We don’t walk away once the job is done either - we maintain gardens so they always look their best and the plants thrive.

With over 18 years of experience in landscape design and horticulture, we undertake almost any project. Today, the word ‘garden’ hardly fits all the spaces we design or renovate. While much of our work still involves suburban gardens, we also transform inner-city courtyards and patios, lifestyle blocks and workplaces.

You’ll find us professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, friendly and reliable.

When we begin your project, we stay on your project, completing most tasks ourselves, or if a niche service is required, overseeing others we trust.

Landscape Design

Are you drawn to formal, minimalist, subtropical or native gardens? Or something entirely different?
Whatever your space or style preference, we will design the perfect outdoor space for you. We create bespoke landscape designs for all sorts of properties - residential, commercial and rural.

Plans evolve after we’ve met our client at their site. We listen to what they like and how they intend using the space both now and into the future.

These days people think of their outdoor areas as an extension of their home, so we assess the surroundings and suggest ways to improve indoor-outdoor flow.

We enjoy opening our clients’ eyes to all the possibilities. Have they thought about creating a quiet sanctuary somewhere in the garden? A play zone for children? Security for pets? Cooking and entertainment areas? A utility space? There’s so much to think about and we’re thorough. We want to get it right the first time.

We design and build. This means we take care of the entire project from concept to big reveal, guaranteeing top quality work and service at every step.

Soft Landscaping

We’re knowledgeable and passionate about plants and believe they enhance any space. They soften, add texture, filter light, provide shade, shelter, and homes for wildlife. Edible or decorative, they’re a healthy addition to any garden. We’ve gained quite a reputation for our planting plans, especially using subtropical, native species and hardier coastal plants.

Our services include

  • specifying, sourcing and planting all trees, shrubs, grasses, ground cover etc.

  • improving soils

  • laying turf, both grass and artificial

  • decorative tree work - topiary and espalier

  • selection of indoor plants and planters

Hard Landscaping

Almost all outdoor spaces require some form of hard landscaping. Think of it as the garden’s ‘bones’ - the hard components such as pathways, patios, concrete and decking. When we create a layout, we consider your movement around the garden and between inside and outside, how you’ll use the space and how hard surfaces interact with soft, mainly the plants.

We lay paving to create paths, steps, patios, seating and entertainment areas. We also build garden edging and raised beds, instal irrigation systems and lighting.

“Symmetry is about achieving a pleasing balance in a space. For me, it’s about the interplay between hard and soft features and the choice and placement of plants. Plants can be grouped and spaced either for impact or to create a peaceful ambience.”
